Another edition of the ModBargains blog, just uploading some great info and pictures of a recent set we did for a Scion FRS.



A few weeks back we fitted up a set of Forgestar F14 wheels on this Scion FRS. Forgestar recently started offering fitments for the F14 in 18" and now even in 17".



For this set up we wanted to go with a square fitment so we decided it to go with a 18x9.5 ET38 fitment matched with Falken 245/35/18 tires on all four corners. Even at stock ride height the fitment isn't bad at all.

Good question. We have pre-drilled ready to ship inventory in matte black that's 18x8.5 ET38 (semi concave), and 18x9.5 ET38 (deep concave). Now here's where it gets tricky, that's pre-drilled inventory, so that's ready to ship, BUT if you wanted to select your own offset, lets say instead go with a 18x9.5 ET35 or whatever it may be, or maybe pick another finish, they have to build that fitment or color to order, and when they do that, the wheel will be SEMI-Concave.

I know it can be confusing, but for those interested in getting an order set up I can explain more in detail maybe over the phone or over PM.

I don't see how sharing pictures of a cool set of wheels can be considered advertising with no price, no link (as per forum rules), but rather just sharing with the community to make it a better place. Thanks for your comment though!

I'm actually glad they posted this! Its not advertisement or else everyone who show off their wheels are advertising which is not the case. You're just assuming they are as they are vendors, but if you didn't notice by then... Vendors are the best people to ask for inputs .

I see someone trying to get post counts! Now that's an accurate declarative sentence .

I'm not assuming anything. I am making comments based on what is there, no assumption required.

Vendors are the best people to ask for advice? Disagree there. I'd much rather talk to someone whose salary does not depend on their "opinion".

I'm trying to get post counts? I only post when I have something to say. That's why I have 10x the "thanks" from 1/3rd the posts, compared to you.

It's a squared deep concave fitment, 18x9.5 ET38 all around. If you want to go 18x8.5 ET38 and 18x9 ET38, both the fronts and rears will be semi-concave. Here's a good side by side of the concavity of wheels they carry. Semi-Concave and Deep concave are most used, but Super deep concave can fit Rocket Bunny cars like the one in my signature:
