Took a moment to stick on the tS badge I picked up from subaru. 3 years of trying to find a loophole to import one and then it's a non-restricted part in the US upon release of the car.

Been stockpiling a few more parts. I figure if I am going to pull the front apart again to put in the radiator I may as well address some other stuff at the same time.
Washer Reservoir: Vortech's solution is a joke. It has leaked since day one. I reached out to the guys at Group A/Kraftwerks and they sold me a jug outright separate from buying one of their kits. I am looking forward to having washer sprayers again for the first time in 2.5 years and my car not looking like it's peeing in a parking spot randomly. Oil Cooler: I picked up an unused greddy core from an RX7 guy who bought the kit and used a larger core for his setup. I need to buy the Jackson or Mocal plate now and build my lines. I'll get after that in a few weeks. I bought a CNC Router and a new 3D printer this week and am having a desire to recover from a spending spree. That said; is anyone interested in a fullblown motorsports fan shroud or the mishimoto hoses? I'll end up using samcos and stock fans so these are unnecessary. |

Added a few things while building up my motivation to order the sandwich plate and fittings I still need before taking on that project.
Beatrush Lockout Ring: Radium Dual Catch Cans (the hose over the battery is now aligned straight. I picked these up secondhand and needed to get new hose. It has been replaced/adjusted) |

Little more noise than the stock axleback but not a ton. No drone. They are 1300+shipping from japanparts.com or about 6-800+shipping from croooober. I was fortunate enough that a friend had one on his car and was going full 3” and worked a trade for some other parts.

Took some time to install the fullblownmotorsports radiator. Found that it is a huuuge. So huge that it didn't fit with the vortech intercooler. The tanks/core are positioned forward as to not create interference in the engine bay. This is great on n/a applications but if you have an intercooler that utilizes the stub on center of the core support to mount...you're gonna have a bad time. So I parted ways and ordered a few koyo pieces instead to sort it.
I also fit my washer jug at the same time. The intent was to fit the oil cooler as well but irritability and frustration found it's limit after the radiator fuckery that I shelved that project for a few weeks. I have to go to boston for work again for 2 weeks - that's some "I'll deal with it when I am home again in March" stuff. I will also deal with the fab of the intake at the same time and tweaking a few things to kill some rubbing that irritates me (a/c pipe on charge pipe).

Bought and installed a P3 gauge
Sourced the rest of the OEM STi lip kit: Loaned my car to Rigid Industries for them to build the Subaru fitment direct replacement fog lamps: Decided I didn't like DRLs so I ordered the delete fascias from JapanParts.com: Had a few fancy pictures I hadn't posted from when Connor from MotoIQ borrowed it and the Rigid product shoot. I have some more parts amassed. I'll get to it eventually.

You mentioned not liking the change in driving dynamics with the 18's so you went back to the 17's. Are you able to elaborate a bit more on this please? Details would be awesome; I.e. car over bumps, responsiveness, acceleration/stopping etc..
