Hells yeah!! It's been a while indeed...actually I hadn't even come across this thread till earlier this week.

No problems here on my PRL MotorSports kit with Vit's recommended GtX2867r gen 2 turbo. Just did a round trip to Seattle and back. 1200 miles logged in under a month.

My second twin that Vit has tuned.

Will throw up a build thread later tonight.

Just a quickie update -- all is still well with my orange twin. Had it on the dyno to test and touch up an updated VE model and did a few quick hits at WOT on E40 fuel and 10psi still makes 330whp (~360-370 on local rollers people are used to using in this area). Motor still healthy, only had to replace one tranny (lol).

Holy crap everyone, I just buckled my seatbelt and churned through all 21 pages of this thread. As someone new to the 86 scene and as my first car I want to make an effort on modding, there is so much great discussion and information! Hopefully one day I will actually be able to grasp and make use of all the topics covered in here.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to @VitViper and thanks to everyone else contributing.

All joking aside, those numbers are epic!
Echoing wisdom above, I suggest upgrading your internals as soon as possible.
The connecting rods have been shown to give first with less boost.
