i got the light to come on twice this weekend. once i was passing someone going from 3rd to 4th in the 4k-6kish rev area. and the second time i was autoX so somewhere between 1-2nd gear and high in the RPMs the light went out but i am still going to be takeing it to the dealership tomorrow so they can look at it. figure if i get it documented if something does happen then they cant say they didnt know or what ever

Check Engine light? Did you check the codes and if so what where them?

You guys remember when the TRD intake was spotted at the Celebrity Races? I couldn't find the thread but when the Toyota guy was asked about the mods to the car I believe he mentioned the intake, exhaust and race gas to avoid detonation.

god damm..now injector seal is failing?? hope Subaru comes up with TSB /Recall for all owners. until then, we all gotta be careful shifting everytime??

Here are the "special tools" needed to stretch the seals over the injector heads without damaging them.
Subaru wouldn't sell them to me.
Toyota wouldn't sell them to me.
I even called OTC and after asking for my account number, which I didn't have, they said the tools hadn't been manufactured yet.
Told me to call back in maybe July.
