Yikes! well on the plus side, at least you are heading in the direction of fixing the issue.

On my end, knee is feeling better. Ditched the crutches over the weekend and have just been limping around ("got that swagger in my step" ) Still can't quite completely extended my leg or fully bend it, but at least I can move it around and I'm sleeping a little better since I don't get the shooting pain every time I roll over. Finally got an MRI yesterday, results literally said "unremarkable male left knee". I guess that's a good thing We'll see what the Dr says.

Before he passed away, my father-in-law really wanted to drive my BRZ since he's never owned a sports car (closest to it was a Karman Ghia). I would chuck him the keys every now and then but he never took me up on the offer because of his back problems. His last 3 cars were all variants of the Ford panther platform (crown vic, continental, grand marquis) because it was the only car he can sit comfortably in (he also has an assortment of little pillows in there to pad around). Don't know why he never got surgery...

Yep, at least there is something that can be done about it. Although, I am a bit apprehensive about surgery around the spinal cord and spine. One slip of the knife and my clutching days are over -

Sounds like your recovery is going well - Oh yes, that "limping around" is no fun fer sure -

I hear ya on that waking up at night because of pain is a bummer. I'll turn over in my sleep, let out a yell, mrs humfrz yells because I yelled, then I exclaim "what's wrong"?!

My father never drove any of my sporty cars (MGB, Miata, FR-S) or my brothers TR-6, Corvette or GL motorcycles.

When asked why he didn't take them for a ride, he would respond "why would I want to drive one of those things".

I hope you continue a successful recovery.

Right? I was thinking the same thing. 949 Racing make wheels, but they’re sponsoring suspension. Whatever works.

They're working on bringing Xida coilovers to market for the platform...

It is really smoky here today. They say the town of Paradise California is gone, all burnt. One fire went from 1,000 to 70,000 acres overnight with 0% containment. Pray for rain.

If I could ship my rain down I would give you guys every drop. It's surreal to think of wildfires being a problem in November. It's so awful to see this happening and hits close to home for me.

BC had it's worst wildfire year for hectares burned in 2017 and again in 2018.

We have some summer vacation property up in the southern interior that we got evacuated from last summer and this summer due to wildfires. Didn't lose anything, but it feels like just a matter of time now.

Stay safe out there.

So sorry, guys. I'd do the same if I could.

Family friends live in Paradise and likely lost their house last night. It’s located between the hospital and church that burned down I believe.

Smoke today here is unbearable too. I really need to get a mask with filter.
