Mine gets regular winter abuse and I installed the exact same way. Still solid as a rock. 3M is fairly strong stuff. Just gotta make sure it's applied to a clean surface and you're good to go!

Edit: Realized I hadn't shared my progress recently. I purchased replacement taillight gaskets from www.gasketninja.com. Shipped fairly quick! Also ordered new fender marker light bulbs because the LED ones I have now have been blinking since I pretty much got them two years ago, but I'm only now doing something about it.

Also finally cleaning up my room and I found my 3 aluminum STI logo badges to put on my side skirts and front lip! I refused to pay $45 for them again, hoping I'd find them one day, and I did!

Here are some recent pics I took after going for a drive on Sunday. I purchased Adobe Lightroom to help pump up my shots a little and fix the white balance.

Installed my rexpeed polarized, wide angle, heated mirrors. I'll never go back. Can see all the things and absolutely no glare anymore.

The 17 year old girl was completely clueless, she gave me this blank stare when I suggested she turn on her hazard lights. I told her to find the little red triangle button and after a few minutes she figured it out.
