And it is official.

The presenter implied that we would all be impressed with the sports car value versus price of the 4 cylinder model. We shall see.

200 lbs lighter than the 3.0 model but loses some stuff like electric seats, smaller rotor/calipers, the Supra 2.0 does not have the Active Differential and Adaptive Suspension used on the 3.0 model, 4 speaker vs 10.

The 430i is $44,950, while the 440i is $51,350. Going off that pricing, I'm going to wager that the 2.0 will cost around $43,000.

LOL
"The 2021 Supra 2.0 offers an intermediate model between the Toyota 86 and the Supra 3.0, giving the customer three distinct Toyota sports car choices."

Can we kiss all the "MR is being released next because Toyota said they would have three sports car choices" rumours goodbye now?

Correct, pretty much TNA brought SZ w SZ-R engine to it... which I'm kinda disappointed, but hey, at least they brought more options for more people.

Most fans are happy to see they're bumping hp up... but few MY20 Supra owners aren't happy to see 50hp bump. SOL

I don't mind the power, I just want a manual option and functional vents.

But at least they have the exclusivity of having the first model year A90

Probably because it's a design that looks Toyota and didn't change as much in the final product and wasn't really based on anything. The Supra still shows quite a bit of BMW on the exterior, and it's especially clear when comparing it to the FT-1 and then its Z4 counterpart. The Supra just looks like a compressed FT-1 built around the base of a Z4.

Shame because Toyota could have easily just asked Lotus to build them a new MR2 since Lotus already uses their engines anyway.

This must mean the 2nd gen 86 will not have 250hp. 230hp might be a stretch too......

So im guessing its going to be 200hp again and still be slower than minivans!
