Dyno'd our stock BRZ on Tuesday, broke 600 hp with Delicious

OK maybe it's not stock, but the latter part is true.

Hit the dyno on Tuesday in Denver with our friend William Knose of Delicious Tuning for him to work a little bit of his magic on #RevvProjectBRZ!

The results:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhWfyl5yoOw&list=UUHbWo0UVy0SGQLM43ITCyUA"]#RevvProjectBRZ Dyno Session 603hp / 462 ft-lbs with the Subaru BRZ FA20 - YouTube[/ame]

There's also a good bit left in her as well. Ran out of fuel flow up top thanks to the stock fuel lines. Still had a couple pounds of boost as well as about 7 degrees of timing left to really push her. Once we get the lines resolved we'll get back on that dyno for the big numbers.

Huge props to Bill @ Delicious for killing it with the tune. I have to say that without his traction control, the 600hp is pretty damn hard to put down. He threw the book at this build with his full flex fuel kit, dynamic barometric compensation & boost control, flat-foot shifting, downshift throttle blipping (this is a badass cheat lol), and that traction control. I'm putting together a full vid walking through everything he/we did so let me know if there's anything you want me to address in terms of drivability or tech.

All I have to say is it's amazing how drivable this car is right now. Ridiculously "linear" power band makes it super fun to drive, an absolute asshole when you lay down the throttle (even 20% it gets ridiculous) and feels stock when just putting around (ok, aside from my twin-disc clutch).

If you guys haven't been following along with the build, check out our build log on here:

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58407

or our blog where we document the entire build process:

http://www.revvolution.com/blog/Plat...-BRZ-Scion-FRS

and here's a shot of her incase you haven't seen:

Love the look of the molded RB kit and amazed at how fairly linear the power curve is for so much power.

what size wheels/tires were on when you were having trouble with traction before the traction control? just curious

This blew us away with how big of a difference it made. It was literally the first "mod" we did, and while we only drove it around on the streets, it was more than noticeable. But I wish we could've tested it out on the track after seamwelding and before all the other suspension mods to really understand how much of a difference it made. It was a ton of work

Thanks! Wanted something a little different than the rest. I'm also super impressed with how linear the entire power band is. Going into the build Garrett was pushing the 35R, but we wanted something that wasn't just a highway rocket. The smaller turbo definitely has some punch down low, spools quickly and has great top-end performance. The graph backs this up too. I'll put together a vid highlighting how 'driveable' she is shortly

We're on Yokohama AD08R's on all four, 18x9.5's front and 18x10.5 rear. Keep in mind those are like pure performance summer tires, so our 50 degree weather is under their peak performance temp. So when cold it's like ice skating, but once they warmed up I was still able to break them loose in 5th but manageable to keep it well under control (this is without traction control). Once Delicious implemented the traction control it was wayyy more manageable and really helped putting the power down. We will also do a comparison for the traction control too because it's a huge difference over OE where they just nail the brakes
