Agreed. An old STI wagon or Volvo wagon are the way to go. This will be the last Scion I own.

I can already see it...

debadging the Scion emblem and the iM emblem...

And replacing it with the Toyota and Auris emblem imported from Europe or Austrailia...

...wasn't there another Scion where many owners did the whole rebadging thingy?

I'm hoping this thing comes as a hatch. There's too few hot hatch options available these days.

Well this Scion iM is a rebadged Toyot Auris, and the Auris is a hatch.....
The Auris also comes as a hybrid wagon, maybe it'll find its way here too?

Ever since the current gen Auris got released I always wanted that thing here as the next Matrix. That was under the assumption that the Matrix was going to survive into the next generation but that obviously didn't happen.

Everyone just has to read up on the Toyota Auris to see what the production model will be like.

It'll probably have bumpers that look similar to the 14-15 Corrola

that said, it's definitely not a bad thing (still miles ahead of the xD)
also i hope that green is an option

If they can deliver that front end and back end styling this will steal quite a few sales from potential Honda Fit buyers.

true, however that was an all-new vehicle

the iM is an Auris so it can be assumed that everything save for the mirrors and bumpers will be the same.

Heres the production Auris, it'll probably look like 95% the same (like the iQ)

If they were smart they would've turboed it to compete with the other hot hatches out there. If they were crazy they would have made it turbo AWD while keeping an aggressive look to steal all the miffed last gen WRX hatch owners. But I doubt they would want to make subaru upset. Oh well.

They still haven't announced what it's specs are

so it could still be turbo.
