On one hand,I think its a really good idea, considering that airflow in this car with the windows down is pretty awful(at least for me).On the other hand, reaching to open them,in the car's current configuration, would kinda be a bitch, especially for those with shorter arms.

Ah... the front windows are power so why wouldn't the factory make the rear quarter windows power as well? I've had several vehicles (mini van, suv) with them. Check out the web, lots of people with store bought and DIY power rear quarter windows.

^that would add a considerable amount of weight, for a pretty dumb design feature (IMO).

Similar to how some want their brand new jeans ripped, I want rust bubbles on the rear quarter panel from the factory.

If they keep the B-pillars the way they are/similar: Place to put side facing cameras under the glass.
Naturally Aspirated
Digital dash (with actual 80's aesthetic since that's what they were thinking)
Head unit that isn't garbage

Probably more, but that's off the top of my head.

I think "digital" and "head unit that isn't garbage" clash. If it's a true drivers car, the enthusiast would be very happy with timeless analog gauges and controls. Digital speed is nice and maybe gear selection, but this whole infotainment trend is getting out of hand.

At least just make the headunit double-DIN so it can swapped out, and don’t put important CANbus vehicle controls in it.

Nah, considering the issues and complaints that both Toyota and Subaru have had with their aftermarket head units since the cars were first release, to fix the issue and standardize things, you are getting either A) or B).

Take your pick. Large vertical style touchscreen, or top mounted horizontal screen.

Good luck, folks.

A)

B)

But I would smitten with the digital gauge cluster from Lexus.

IMHO, if you want to see digital screens done right, look at the one in the upcoming 2021 Escalade (Below and in this video.

Props to GM for understanding what a car dash should look like!

The car is built to a budget and i am mostly fine for what the current car already offers. I think these attributes are important to maintain:

- Drivetrain layout (FR)
- Maintain current weight distribution (54/46) or better
- Maintain current weight or lighter

What I would like to see:

- A high revving N/A engine with a power band in the upper rev range (think K20/F20) without oiling issues. (I would be willing to pay more money for the car if this actually happened)
- Footwell heat/AC ventilation that actually works.
- "Holy shit" handles for passengers.

Tuck an old towel under the seat and between the console and seat for the winter. The foot well vents actually work great when they don't have to fight the cold air circulating under the seat for the first half hour of travel.
