Brembo STI Brake for BRZ

I found one vendor sell the whole set Brembo STI Brake(front and rear) for BRZ which do not need any additional modify.


However, this vendor is in Australia.

Waste of time/money IMO. The stock calipers have plenty of clamping power for stock sized rotors. If you need more thermal capacity for heavy track use, you'll need a full BBK.

I don't know what the currency transfer rate is, but I just put together the same package, with stainless lines as well, for $1800usd. That's ebay for the calipers and rallysport for the rest. They are great brakes, but that is far too expensive.

I don't have the link anymore because I bought them, but just searching "STi brembos" or "STi calipers" will give results. I don't see any 08+ black calipers on their now. But they do pop up.

after upgrade to 18 inch wheel.

Good tires, stainless brake lines, fluid, and pads will net you some awesome stopping power. And you'll have spent less than on the brembos.

You don't even need the stainless lines, they don't help with braking power or stopping distances. They do improve pedal feel, but that's it.

Better pads and fluid is all you need to significantly improve the stock brakes.

No, those came on the WRX. They will fit, however, I don't know if they are much of an upgrade.

WRX 4 pot fronts are an upgrade. WRX 2 pot rears are a downgrade.

OP, the OEM brakes are more than powerful enough to engage the ABS. The absolute easiest upgrade to your brakes will be better tires. If you still want more after that, new pads and fluid and maybe brake ducts. If you're going to the track every other weekend and you're fading or glazing your pads after 20 minutes, then get a BBK. The AP Sprint is particularly well regarded by the track drivers here.

If you want bigger, more awesome-looking brakes to fill your 18" wheels at a car show, Stoptech makes 355mm front / 345mm rears that will do the job.

The wrx 4 pots send the bias rearwards, so they kind of are a downgrade. The 30mm nissan 4 pot (same piston size as the wrx caliper but with different mounting pattern) with the KNS adaptor allows you to use a larger rotor (legacy gt) which nets you an unnoticeable 1% forward bias. As well as better thermal capacity with the bigger rotors and the pedal feel of a fixed caliper. You can pick up the nissan 4 pots, adaptors, pads, rotors, and some stainless lines all new (calipers reconditioned) for maybe $50 more than new wrx 4 pots alone

I understand that, but if your looking to improve your brakes by upgrading pads and fluid then adding stainless lines just make sense.

Except both TRD and STI have pulled their stainless brake lines because of some issues with them...
