I'll start at the end; wet trackday rating for this car is 5 * !!!!
Exceeded my expectations, big time. Conditions at Bedford today were challenging with lots of standing water , which stayed for the balance of the day. Brz was quick in these conditions and very controllable Key stuff; Static noise measurement was 78.5db at 4500rpm Light weight and skinny tyres meant easy hard braking on standing water and this meant the car was very quick in the corners ( quickest I'd say. ) plus you can get on the gas a bit in mega water. TC set to normal would allow the car to step out of line under power, quite significantly, although when it stepped in it was quite abrupt Sport mode is great, allowing 3rd gear, 70 mph power slides with such easy control and balance. You can steadily add to the gas and the rear just steps out gradually; brilliant!! You can just feel the odd correction from TC just like little 'taps' Understeer; a tad on the low grip corners but could be dialled out with gear selection etc. Brakes; ok it was coolish and very wet, but minimal brake fade for most of the time and only a little later on. I' m going to have them checked by my dealer this week and I'll post some pics later. Power; the brz was quicker than many cars in today's conditions because of its wet weather, braking and cornering performance. However, faster cars, failing to allow me to pass ( as they should do under TD rules) and accelerating away on the straights was a problem. I think 50 bhp would have seen me past most people coming out of the corners. It's a tool guys and big respect from the track day Instructors for the car. I always get a bit of instruction on track days and 'Rocky' who sat with me today had done the GT86 press launch in Spain, so was well placed to advise on just what yaw angle we could achieve. Lol. Pics and HD cabin vids shortly Gobsmacked

Trying to source 'officially' an STI front splitter and tower bar at the moment.
In terms of power, I'm just waiting for Litchfield to finish development work; their car has been to Ecutek, and is off the Miltek for the exhaust work this week. Going to up power a little and look at the brakes in the first instance.

Man that TC is loud. You can't even hear it any of our German cars (VW Eos, Audi Q5, Audi A4).

Thought I'd pop the car on the dyno to get a baseline pre-tuning.
Results below, which I think are consistent with the Litchfield UK car, which ran on the same type of dyno at Ecutek. Car running Shell V Power ( euro 98 ron)
