Use hex editor to compare boot MAT area from two different brz/86 ecu is their any difference ?? or same 0000-7FFFF

User MAT 8000-13FFFF unlikely to have any serial numbers as can be overwritten.

Maybe use the Vehicle VIN number its stored in ECU and is unique to each vehicle but in different area ??

I can't read user boot mate until now . I don't think Ecutek BRZEDIT OFT flashedit read it for public . It is privet .
I found user boot mate as a new base mate . I try find any sign of vin Number in it but to luck

I start read sh72531 user manual to get more information about a spical code

Market ecu flasher as above flashs user mate only . I am looking for a read/write code to send it to ecu for R/W in that area . By using RE in flasher app .

I believe the ecu store the VIN . Only no serials proved until now

You can read/change vin with Toyota techstream software. Tactrix can be used with Techstream as the interface cable.

I have not investigated but VIN is likely in separate area of ECU maybe not in SH72531 chip.

If you have CAN buss sniffer you could sniff the requests on can buss when using Techstream to read/change VIN
