Any dyno of the Perrin Pulley yet? The Agency Power pulley showed some hp gain.

Any "driving around" videos? Do the revs rise and fall faster?

How is the daily drive-ability with lightweight crank pulley? Do the revs fall to quickly and require rev matching for downshifting?

guys, this is a minimal gain mod that you won't really notice. it's a neat little mod to do, but it's not going to add HP. it's all about rotational mass. now, if you put a carbon fiber driveshaft in the car, you'll notice a huge difference in the revs.

I disagree. True this doesn't add HP, but I noticed a big difference when I installed the lightweight pulley in my BRZ. It revs quicker, and helps minimize the torque dip.

As far as bang for the buck upgrades on our cars I would say this should be at the top of most people's lists.

what does the factory pulley weigh? i'm not saying it's bad, but i don't want anybody to think it's amazing. lightweight pulleys have been around forever and always the first mod for companies to make lol.

i will be adding one. with a cf drive shaft.

Perrin pulley is 1.2 lbs. vs. stock at 4.9 lbs.

Sure a carbon fiber drive shaft is probably great and worth doing for some, but consider the cost. $100 (easy install) vs. $1000+ (moderate to advanced install) which is why I say the crank pulley should be near the top of the list when it comes to bang for your buck.

Also I think it's a good first DIY project for someone who doesn't have that much experience working on cars.

driveshaft is actually easier to install in my opinion, i've dropped my sti's before. it slides in one end, couple silly looking nuts/bolts for the diff connection.

with that in mind, i'll be buying perrin's pulley. anything agency power is garbage (vivid racing).
