Enjoyed the video Steve! Missing those roads already... It was great getting to meet and chat. Maybe next time we can find time to organize a hangout. We will bring cookies!

I am loving the LED lights for cars and so far I converted over my LandCruiser and now I'm going to do the 86. So I finally got my LED's from China and they look great! I waited for a few weeks specifically for the red rear signal bulbs, that will replace the amber, which project the light towards the reflector creating a nice even bright light. The front switchbacks I had to wait also to get the proper lumens that matches the filament bulb lumens for amber and white. White is 6k and amber 3k in the switchback. I had an issue with all the bulb bases as they are tight putting in the socket. I pushed the bulb's in and they kept on popping out of the socket. They worked but they would pop out. Weird! So I took them out and pushed more firmly and they slid right in farther into the socket. One of the front switchbacks and one of the rear red signal bulbs fell into the housing. Yikes. Getting the front switchback out was easy wit a claw grabber, in the rear no such luck so since the bulb uses metal prongs I attached a magnet to the end of a piece of wire and went fishing. Took a couple of minutes but it worked out nice. Also the wire for the rear socket is way short and meant for a smaller filament bulb and the LED is longer so I had to place the LED into the housing and holding wit a pliers I pushed on the socked. I pushed it fully into the socket base using my hands. The rear bulbs are polarity sensitive so I tested them outside the housing and marked with a sharpie the proper orientation. Waiting for my LED flasher unit due tomorrow so living with hyperflash for a few days.

Links for bulbs;

Switchbacks I can't find the link for these

Nice fishing skills, sir.

Links to the LED's you used? The temperature difference vs headlights for the front switchbacks really bothers me for the ones I got (corn cob / diamond style emitter)

Yeh the switchbacks and the headlights clash. I am getting LED headlight bulbs but not just yet. Posted the link for the red bulbs I can't find the link for the switchbacks

please don't get LED headlights. I haven't seen one where they outperform a proper halogen projector setup, let alone an HID setup. if anything, you will probably get better performance with an HID kit. and if you upgraded to the bi-xenon from factory, then there's no need to touch it lol.

I actually have LED headlights in my Land Cruiser and they work great. Far superior than Halogens and same lumens and color as HID. Thanks though

Yes, there are some with one or two miles on them but they are pretty rare. Even though several of the delivery steps don't require much (if any driving) the miles can pile up in a hurry. Don't get put off if it has 50 or more miles on it.
I bought mine with 7 miles on the ODO.

Well to me the Oceanic has more metallic than the UM but need a side by size comparison still...but the hype is true...it's a perfectly powered, handling, and fun car. Just pick a color and enjoy!!

Yep some just don't need to travel as much as others. There are people with as low as 3 on here.
