No link. They are just a small printing shop over here which does customized plates, embossed stickers, etc.

Good luck with trying to get your plates in 60 days. It's been 6 months and I still don't have mine. MMDA has never given me problems even without the conduction sticker numbers on my plate holder.

true! my mom's car has been out since august 2012 and still doesn't have issued plates until now.
@Alabang BRZ: expect your plates to arrive 3 months minimum if you keep on following it up, but it usually takes 6 months++

NIK from the news articles I've read on the problems with the LTO it appears it will resolve by June. With the backlog it could last 90-120 days before we get the new plates.

The good news is it appears the front and rear plate holders can accomodate the wider plate. Just wish the LTO decided to follow the dimensions (but not the design) used by Europe, Japan or the US.

If I do find myself itching for a less home made looking plate where in Paranaque can I get em?

The latest bidding just this month done by LTO for the supply of plates just this month is again being put into question because of the presence of a non-existing standard in the requirements of the LTO which unbelievably all the bidders said that they were compliant with. So the loosing bidders are going to court saying the contract should not be awarded to anyone because all of the bidders where not truthful in their proposals. With the amount of backlog they have, we would be lucky to get our plates within the next six months.

I will PM you tomorrow the name of the place for the euro plates. I forgot the name of the shop.

How about the sticker for renewing car registration? I've managed to get the sticker for our cars ending in 4 but our car ending in 5 and 6 still do not have a sticker.

I cannot believe the LTO has bungled something this simple.

Isn't it funny that if the citizens delay payment of taxes & fees we get penalized. If one govt agency delays another agency makes up a new rule to make our lives more inconvenient.

if you're already a member of the 86/brz group in FB, check out the cargo mat posted. it's oem and molded to fit the trunk w/ full spare tire perfectly.

Not interested in offending anyone.

Double the BHP & triple the torque.

Hi guys, I just reserved my BRZ and hopefully I'll get it when I come back to Manila in July.

How is the ground clearance of the stock 86/BRZ for Philippine roads? Any issues with humps, potholes, etc? Anybody tried those super steep parking ramps sa malls like in EDSA Shangri-la?

Hate to burst your bubble but if you just placed a reservation for your BRZ, you will most likely get it by December. Hopefully you get it earlier.

Ground clearance of the stock BRZ is pretty good for such a low car. Humps and potholes as well as steep ramps pose no problems at all.

Game,

Saw your car having the rear fog lights activated and having the reverse lights changed to LEDs. Your reverse lights are so bright, your probably planning on driving at night in reverse.

So the modding bug has bit you already.
