you'll have a dangling connector though if you remove the 2nd O2 sensor. have you contacted your vendor to see if they can replace it for you?

Frankly it's absurd, as it requires the end user to do more to make the product work properly.

Just exchange it so you are not stuck with something you can't sell later...

Might be the header for the 2.0 used in another Subaru.

I feel like it is.

On topic, bargain bin parts are always a bit of a gamble. I've lost on 2 of them. A cheap exhaust I had didn't hang evenly and my CNT header was off by about 1/16th of an inch, so I had to hammer it with a rubber mallet to get one side to slip onto the studs.

Well I disconnected the sensor from the ECU female connector that is mounted by the battery. Fully removed the sensor and its wire from the car. TBH I didn't notice it was missing the 2nd sensor hole until I pulled the factory header off. At that point I figured I could just do without the second sensor, assuming I could take care of the CEL by tuning. User preference I suppose.

Thanks! Yeah I will check with the return policy and whatnot. I love the way the car sounds now, if I can't resolve the CEL I will try and get a replacement.

I'd definitely return it. I think they will fix their mistake, they responded to my inquiry quickly and even let me use a coupon code that expired.

If all else fails you could buy an o2 bung and have it welded to your header. It sucks, but if that is the only issue you have with the header then it may be an easy fix.

As for the CEL, you will have it even with both o2 sensors. A tune can disable it though.

Ordered one on December 19th, when it arrived it had only 1 O2 bung, I think it's a bad/defective batch. They apologised profusely to me and are shipping a new one out to me already. Also, worth noting that the one that I had also had part of the pipe sticking out of the top of the section to bolts to the engine. We tried a test mount just for a try and it was rough as hell. Lots of leaks to say the very least

Just an update for future potential buyers. OFT stage 2 removed the CEL, so I had no reason to return the product (my preference). Virtually nothing was different with only 1 bung, aside from disconnecting the unneeded 02 sensor. As for my mounting experience, I chose to install, run it for 100 miles, then tighten up the bolts. No exhaust leaks or issues from my experience. One thing to note, installer has to use a swivel deep socket for 1 of the bolts, that resides in-between the driver side runners.

This is just my experience, and from what I understand, it does happen in some ROMs. But, you may need to put your ROM in ROMRaider and disable P0420 CEL (cat efficiency or something). At least for my ROM (D00D) it wasn't already disabled and I got that code after I flashed the Stg 2 ROM.

In the A01C stage 2 ROM it was disabled by default. I'm surprised they would leave this enabled in any stage 2 ROM.

I think my header is cracked or something. I started getting like a clicky and more airy of a sound when accelerating, slightly worse gas mileage and when I pop the hood I can smell exhaust. I'm going to remove the skid plate this weekend and take a better look to confirm.

I contacted semotors.com and they said they only warranty for 1 year. I have a friend who welds who said he will attempt to fix it.

Have to reflash a stage 1 OFT rom too until this is resolved.

Has anyone else had issues?
