Those don't appear to be differential bore calipers.. ie not STI calipers.

They probably are; the outer bore shapes are not different, only the interior piston bore is different. I just packaged my calipers up so I can't take a look at them, but I'm pretty sure the outer shape isn't different from forward to trailing piston.

Couldn't you keep the brake calipers on the same side and take the rotor off with the caliper, hold it up right and bleed one caliper at a time?
Its a little more work but would be worth it if does the trick

It would be entertaining to watch someone deal with holding the rotor, caliper and wrench to open and close the bleeder.

I would never bother as the STI fronts don't address the backs. I like balanced upgrades and would prefer an engineered system that addresses all concerns and just does the one thing larger brakes are usually needed to do (hold more heat).

Most people want fixed calipers, especially with brand names painted on them for appearance, not performance. As long as people can be honest with themselves and understand that they are dumping a lot of cash on an appearance wear item which, at best, won't help performance and at worse will reduce performance then I'm all for it.

I think the stock brakes would work well with the power that is given.

SS lines and a good pad with some high temp fluid would be perfect for the everyday track guy.

Some people would be amazed at what a race pad could do

Will the Sti Brembos work with the factory wheels? I have a set of 18s for the summer but I want to continue to use my factory wheels for winter.

You need a spacer , at least 15mm to clear out , I'm not sure about the rear , but I would do at least 20mm if you do that 15mm front to even out the look ...IMO

Corret @Vten. There's too much interference from the spokes of the stock wheels I measured at least 15mm when I test fit Brembos some time ago.
@cammaxon you would not be able to run stock wheels in winter with STI Brembos.
