First set of new wheels Weds RN-55M
Hi, this is my first time getting new wheels and I found a set that I really like the look of but I'm not sure they will fit. I used the wheel it fit tool and it looks like it will rub. I have not been able to find another BRZ with these wheels online either. I would like to not have to make any modifications or use spacers if possible, but not out of the question.
My Car: 2017 BRZ Limited Performance Package. Wheels I'm looking to get: WedsSport RN-55M 18x9.5 +45 Specifications for their wheels in different sizes attached or on their site. |

get them, 18x9.5 is a common size for frs/brz. you might have to get spacers, you might have to camber with bolts/plates up front, but 18/9.5 is a common size. its not going to kill you if you rub at full lock anyways.
weds are dope, get them and make it work i think the +45 will need 20mm spacers, u on coils? but thats the only offset in 5x100 Last edited by HaXx; 01-18-2020 at 12:59 AM. |

You need spacers to run 18x9.5 +45 unless you get coilovers. The tires will rub on the stock springs but most coilovers have smaller diameter springs that give more clearance.

Everything is still stock and I would like to not mess with the camber if possible. Do either of you know what the average life of the stock suspension with the PP? I might look into coilovers if I can't find other wheels that I like enough.

Another question: How big of a difference would it make if I got the 18x8.5? (Looks and handling)

Quote:
8.5 will handle better, 9.5's are too wide unless you're making a ton more power.

8.5 is face F and 9.5 is FR that means there may be the difference in how morr concave the look is. For some its a deal breaker.
