I think this is the first time I've seen a "tribute" built before the real thing comes out.

Mini Cybertruck clone built on top of a Russian econocar in a week by a guy that I'm pretty sure is my deceased brother's Russian doppelganger. What could possibly go wrong?

Actually I have seen a few of them online, and obviously the simple design lends itself to easy replicas.

It would be pretty humorous if Elon had this sense of humor (which I think he does), but the automotive industry has a funny way of showing awesome concept cars, then the production model is like "hold up, this isn't what I was waiting for... what is this crap??" Maybe this fugly truck is the "production model" and the "concept" will finally be available for consumer purchase.

So CyberTruck or GM Hummer EV? I'll have to wait until the final details are in and I suspect the GM will more expensive but damn those stats!

I would definitely have to see the Hummer first, but yeah those numbers are crazy. I don’t think I’d get either one even if I had the money. I’d go for the Tesla Roadster. It looks pretty badass

TQ is almost infinite in an electric motor... it all depends on how much battery the computer will let you eat up. (Or how hot it might get I guess)

The Hummer is the perfect EV truck/SUV because no one actually used them for hauling or anything; they all got 22” Dubs.

Ha, yea I suppose so. Although I know of at least one that was used to pull a trailer with a bassboat and two jet-skis on a pretty regular basis.

No 22" dubs but it was wrapped in bright yellow.

The Roadster is just a status symbol car based on its price. For the price of the Roadster, I would start off by slumming it with a C8 and then figure what to do with the $150,000 I had left.

Aren’t all these pretty much status symbols though? Artists are using them in their music videos, people are putting dumb vanity plates, people keep the doors open to “flex” etc. It seems like there’s only a small percentage of people who actually buy them primarily for them being electric cars. Of course, that’s just from what I’ve seen. But yeah, if money’s no object, I’d take the Roadster out of all these new EV/Hybrid cars coming out.
