Question for you guys that bought ACE headers in the USA (Counter Space Garage). Have any of you received a Customs Bill from FedEx? I just got a notice in the mail today for a $19.50 amount due. Just curious if this is common.

Please send that invoice to david@counterspacegarage.com. @CSG David will handle that inquiry for you. This may be a customs bill since we had these shipped directly to you from ACE (to cut shipping time).

Having a dilemma on which op should I get.
My current setup is TRD catcack, mashimoto cai , phantom ESC 1.5 kit

My current setup give me tons of torque down low but once I hit 6k+ rpm range my ESC boost tamper off so my top end is not as aggressive even when I had a JDL prototype el header. Thats one thing with my phantom esc from 3-6k rpm i get 4-5 psi but once on the higher rpm it tamper of to 1-3 psi.So I'm looking at way to improve top end more. I don't track but I canyon drive a lot and stay a higher rpm on most drives.

I'm leaning towards type a w 250 op but 350 op is very tempting and can't decide
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks

Sounds like you need 150 rather than the 350. Shorter runner will give you a higher top end power. The beauty with these header is you can exchange the 150 to 250 overpipe bit based on your application/drive. So it will be up to you, if you want to gain a higher top end with limited gain in torque low end (150) or gain a bit of both (250). Also, depends how those canyon runs are - higher rpm is between 5000-7000 (better go 150) or more 3-5000 (250 is more suitable). That is just my opinion however.

I would consider the 150 or 250. The 350 will give you a TON of torque from 3000-5000.

Just got back from my favorite track. First time with the ACE type A 350.

Y axis is speed, x axis is position.
This is the acceleration out of a hair pin turn (T2) onto a straight:
Red is ACE + e85, green is stock header on 91:

Red is ACE + e85, blue is JDL + e85:

Ambient temps for the ACE trace were 99F deg.
Stock trace was in June and it was about 87F deg.
JDL trace was in apr and it was 80F deg.

Thank you CSG for convincing me to swap headers! I like this monstrous NA feeling!

X is position and not time? Hm...I'm not sure that makes sense to me. If it's position shouldn't all the peaks and valleys be in the same spot on the same course, just offset vertically because it's faster with the new equipment?

What you're showing it's also offset to the left which suggests it's time, since you're going faster and getting to the same braking point sooner...Unless this is saying you're braking in a different spot, but I wouldn't expect there to be that much fidelity in the data (commercial GPS isn't that accurate)?

Somebody 'splain it to me please...

That means more speed at the same position on track.

Difference is amazing. Thanks for the graphs

Speed is the vertical. He said that. I don't disagree with that. Are we saying he's having to brake that much sooner, and that's why it's offset so much in the horizontal? I mean we've got to be talking about a single digit MPH difference here, it's not 100 HP.
