Some of my favorite mods:

Plasti dip: Wheels and badges
Tint windows
Short shifter

Made the car a ton of fun to drive and look at, for cheap.

Imported cars are worth more. 2016 is still a Scion FR-S as opposed to a Toyota GT86. The people will offer millions of dollars the trouble you went through importing the car.

Jeez, modded cars done well always show an appreciation, both in value and psychologically ("mental" health boosted 10fold).

You have placed a doubt in my mind though, are Toyota badges really expensive?

So I realized today that I can't turn off the daytime running lights and it seems they use they same bulb as the high beams. Can I purchase a bulb that doesn't have the daytime running lights?

Personally, I'd rather just rather use the low beams for this purpose....

I'm a month into owning mine (2016 FRS Halo) Here's what I've got so far:

- Proper wash and nu finish
- Re-badged to Toyota with glossy black badges
- Window tint
- Black vinyl roof wrap
- Valenti 4th brake light (black gold)
- Clear side markers (+LEDs)
- 86 inlay for the blank spot behind the shift knob
- Toyota rebadge on the steering wheel
- K&N air filter
- weathertech mats and trunk liner

Stuff on order
- Valenti tail lights (black gold)
- Led turn signals (switchback)
- Led license plate bulbs
- Front license relocation
- autodip for the rims (onyx black metallic)

Shopping list
- Led interior bulbs
- Led headlamp bulbs (or hid haven't decided)
- shift knob

Someday after I've gotten used to driving it stock
- exhaust
- headers
- tune

I feel like I might be doing a lot of cosmetic stuff but I like making it my car. The vinyl and tint and clear side markers made a huge difference. Air filter does noticeably improve throttle response. Thinking about a spoiler but right now I like the plain trunk..
