Personally, I'd rather just rather use the low beams for this purpose....
On yours, the DRL is actually the high beam. It can be programmatically disabled using the dealer's Techstream app, or maybe Carista but I'm not sure about that one.

Some just disconnect the series resistor which is behind the little access panel under the front bumper on the right side.

For example, some signs of disapproval from some of the regulars are like so:

@Tcoat - will start a 3 page debate

@Ultramaroon - will just go sheeeesh

@Scrappydoo - will post something unintelligible

and humfrz will give you a .........

Got it ..??

Some things are only unintelligible to Humfrz.

Small print
Opening medicine caps
Laces
Front and rear on an incontinence pad etc.

Are these my feet?

Well now, that's not quite accurate.

small print - I just don't bother to read it

medicine caps - I just use a hacksaw to open them

laces - my bedroom slippers don't have laces

front and rear of pads - it don't matter, I don't change them till they are completely soaked, front and rear.

are these my feet? - unintelligible

But one could argue from an efficiency standpoint that the 3rd "e" is redundant...

The third e does add weight to the rear. It could probably be corrected by using the springs from a 17.

Another suggestion for you which is what I did.

If you care about your car, get some paint protection to make your life easier when you wash and maintain your car.

Window tints if you want to do that as well.

Then grab a shift knob - aesthetically it improves the look of your interior and "performance" wise it will make your shifting feel better
