31k Miles....but not by choice. I had two punctures within two months, the last puncture was not fixable. Michelin PSS's were on within 12 hours

But had lots of tread left over though

I've never owned a set of car tires that still rode worth a damn after 20k miles, even with regular rotation.

Hahaha, I'm at 30k mi too... I'm on my third set of tyres, and that's without doing any kind of track or autox work :P

Seriously though I wouldn't try to hold onto those stock tyres for too long. IIRC when I retired mine they still had some tread depth left, but they were starting to feel like drift trike wheels-- no grip at all, and not a progressive break-away either.

Michelin Super Sport Tires or the Michelin Super Sport A/S version.?
which is recommended best?
I read that the MSS handle better in the wet.

You ever going to be in light snow? A/S. Otherwise, regular.

I got 4k miles out of mine before replacing them with MPSS. That said they're continuing life on my WRX - which at 500lbs heavier and AWD, I don't expect to see 45k miles out of them - but we'll see.

Thanks - I think i am leaning towards MSS and will just run my wife's legacy sport once the first snow hits the ground.
I'm still on m stock wheel set up for now (1,005 miles) and will see if i can let the tires loose a little before going for a 18" set up.

I'm going for the ASA GT10 Hyper Silver Wheels with the Super Sport Tires on 92Y

Its not just snow - temps drop in to the 30's, even in the dry, and your tires will lose grip. Just fyi.

Well i live in a rain forest if that helps my situation at all. It rains a lot, but I would never drive my BRZ in any snow fall weather.
But in the rain on an average temperature of 40 degrees from Sept to Nov i was hoping the Super Sports would get me a couple good runs in the dry and wet conditions.
