Sales start to slow down?

My local dealer has been having a silver man FR-S for about a month. Recently they had another firestorm came in. Both are stock cars with no fancy dealer add-on. The dealer is not big, they usually only carry less than 5 scions.

not sure what you are asking here, sales accelerate in some areas and slow in others. dealerships also trade inventory often.

If you are asking if the total volume of all fr-s sales is slowing, i dont think you can determine that by one dealership.

Was hanging out with the sales manager at the dealership today.. He said they are still having around a 5 day lot time on their FRS's.. He says the standards are sitting a couple days but the last 6 they sold have been auto's coming straight off the truck.. Which we both agree is kinda shocking.. I got my auto because its all that was available, I'm happy with it and now think I made the right decision , but if they had a stick at the time I purchased I would've got that.. Could also be that the two sticks are the two colors I think are not that great.. The hot lava and that dark blue color..

Sports cars are known for slowing down after a year or two. I don't think this one will if they keep it fresh, but it's something that happens to nearly every sports car after some time.

A lot of the time people dont buy the car because the color is not what they wanted. I personally would never buy silver unless i absolutely am desperate. Depends on what town youre in too, a lot of small town people are more into horsepower numbers, so once they see 200hp on the sticker that probably scares them haha.

They're selling well around here. Yes, it's not like you're facing a six-month wait, but it's also not like you're going to get the color and options you want right away unless you're lucky.

According to my dealer they can get any color FR-S optioned any way a customer wants in two days. I told them what I wanted on a Tuesday and drove it home on Thursday. It came from a dealer 100 miles away and they spent one day prepping it. But that was in February with snow on the ground.

There are quite a few available right now but I imagine it will be different come April or May.

Picked up my plates this past weekend and as I was there 2 people were in the process of applying for loans at the dealership to buy FR-S cars. One of them was haggling about the custom rims the display [raven] had on haha.

I've seen a Hot Lava on the lot for about a month but it's an AT and talking to my rep she still said they generally have most models sold within a couple days of being released from impound.

So at least here, it's still selling quite well.

Depends on where you are. The dealer I went to currently has 3 manuals listed on the website (and I'm guessing more on the lot), while there are people in other areas who are still on waiting lists.

I feel like in Oregon it has slowed down quite a bit. Anybody I have talked to that wanted one. Said they could just go to a dealer now and pick one up.

My local dealership has about 9 on the lot and has had them for maybe 3 months. That's more than I've seen being driven around, but to be fair I think the majority of the ones at the dealer are AT.

Winter is always slower for car sales, especially between the Holiday Incentives season and spring specials.

Not true, most come with the Primacy HPs (mine did), which are listed as a summer tire.
