Any people with kids ?
Hey guys,
I'm at the awkward position of changing car seats, I've read a few threads on here but none conclusive ... Are there any good recommendations for forward facing child seats that use the isofix points that fit well in these cars? I came from a Toyota kluger and my son is nearly 2 (Yes I'm a crazy person because I am willing to get my son in and out of a 2 door because I don't wanna drive a mummy mobile) Truthfully I bought my kluger as a tow car because I needed to tow my race car but I'm sponsored now and I don't need my own tow car etc. So anywho.... My seat (a new top line britax) fits ok but not amazing. Anyone have any rexomendations? I will buy and ship from Us if necessary coz Australian car seats are average. Anyone tried the recaro seats? Thanks

There are a few that fit like a glove. You want something very narrow.
This one fits very well:[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Combi-8970105-Kobuk-Air-Thru-Licorice/dp/B003TOJA1O"]http://www.amazon.com/Combi-8970105-Kobuk-Air-Thru-Licorice/dp/B003TOJA1O[/ame] I know somewhere there are pics of it online. With one kid the 86 is definitely doable. Sadly with two it becomes more of a pain for what its worth. |

I bought a Recaro Pro-Ride when I got the car - didn't fit at all.
Luckily the seat we already had, Britax Marathon 70-G3, fits really well. Plus its a quality seat. The seat bottom is fully flat and supported by the bench and the top is slightly below the top of the seat back. Couldn't ask for a better fit. The model is a couple years old now, but I assume the newer model doesn't differ substantially. What problems do yo have with yours? |

Mine isn't the same as your britax
We only legalised isofix a few months ago in Australia coz were so backwards. My seat is a safe and sound meridian (britax) which is ok but it needs to be propped up by a foam block because of the angulation of the back seat.

This baby is going to grow up funny. It will think that it's normal to look out the passenger window and see the road in front.
