so if we get the hks stroker kit or a built engine at some point like i plan to do will there be pulleys to go to 12,15 or higher boost pressure for when the engine can handle that?

Install manual shows a diecast part below the alternator must be removed and cut. It doesn't need to be replaced if you go back to stock though.I have restored my pulleys to stock until I get my replacement blower.

6 pages in; this kit seems real hinky. Are there any dudes out there enjoying this kit, tracking it and having zero issues?

I've been running the v2 since August 2015 and I have zero complaints. Be careful if you're running stock tires.

For the record, my issues aren't the fault of HKS.
Long story short, I bought a V1 kit with a much larger intercooler and modified piping used from someone local on this forum, who actually bought it from another member here from Istanbul.

The seller didn't tell me he didn't have the traction oil cooler and filter, neither did his uninstaller/ installer afterward.

I tried installing a filter and improvised cooler myself and somehow due to inexperience switched the oil inlet and outlet.

HKS has been difficult helping me buy a replacement blower misinformed me on several occasions but I have been skeptical of info provided and questioned them and other owners so I FINALLY ordered the proper replacement. It has been months and although it is paid for I have yet to receive it.

Product excellent
Product support without warranty, lets just say it should be improved now that they actually have all their info right after my issue. I hope so, anyway.

In my world, you dont give answers until you are sure you have the correct information. Again, after dealing with me they finally have their shit in order. They are nice people though.

Nope - I use a mishimoto 19 row cooler mounted next to the v2 Intercooler. The traction fluid cooler is mounted between the oil cooler and partially behind the cold side of the intercooler.

I wanted to keep the lines for an oil cooler as short as possible.

This is due to the larger intercooler, larger intercooler piping, the lack of an inlet restrictor, and a larger diameter pulley to reduce the compressor speed.
Lack of restrictor and larger pulley mean less psi at mid range so less power and torque under curve! that is really a step back in my opinion!

I was told by HKS-UK that the v3 kit was designed for the 'american market' and the reason for switching to a larger pulley was due to poor fuel stateside.

That said, if the intercooler is considerably larger then I may opt to upgrade the standard v2 cooler.
