It's not so much the material, but the welding. It depends what processes they are using to weld.. by hand or machine. If it's coming from overseas, then the material itself can be questionable as there are a lot types of stainless steel.
@t88supra , how did the welds look like? Good craftsmanship?

As I said earlier, it's stated to be 304 SS, so it should only be a craftsmanship concern.

well, I am by no means a welding pro, but I would say they looked pretty good quality...

Now you have made my decision tougher...

I was thinking Borla... but this one sounds good too and less than half the price!

BTW .. just because it says its the same stainless as other brands.. doesn't mean it is... Without someone testing no real way to know.

I don't think its 304ss. If it is. It may be because its thin. It could be lesser grade metal. We would neverknow. Or try a magnet test
