TRD Intake Temp Filter

I need to clean/oil my TRD intake filter with the K&N kit and want to let it thoroughly dry for 24 hours.

Is there a equivalent cotton/paper filter that will fit while it dries? It's my daily driver and can't be out of service while it dries.

WRONG SECTION
Please post it in issues / recall section next time!

To be honest, there is no filter that you could use unless you get any filter that are big and cut it to fit!

However, keep it in a hot room and you could use it in 12h!

WRONG SECTION
1: I would say your section suggestion is no better than here. Why should it go in the issues/recall? Rediculous.

2: You're not "being honest". THere is probably an equivalent paper filter out there somewhere.

3: A "hot room"? errrr no.

OP, I am unaware of any equivalent but someone may chime in. If I were you I would leave the filter by a fan overnight, perhaps near a heat source if you have one (fireplace/woodstove etc) but make sure it doesn't get too hot.

Slap it in in the morning before going to work.

Cheers

And this is why you keep the stock one. Just use a hair dryer, er... blower.

But OP has the TRD intake.

Several minutes of vicious Googling shows no match for the filter, which is Toyota part #PTR03-18132 according to this install PDF.

Maybe if you talk reallllly nice to your dealer's service counter, they can get you another one? here's a link to it on toyotaracing.com.

Thanks!....I did find the part number before I posted and took that to Oreily's and they couldnt find anything. They said to just bring it in and they can help me find one that matches in a paper/cotton size.

The stock one is too small. I have the entire intake, not the drop in filter. I will try the "blower" method if I cant find one.
