Hey, forgot to mention to check the reservoir cap. I had no issues with mine but when I checked the traction fluid levels after so many miles of driving, I had some traction oil escape upon reinstalling it. Nothing big but still escaping. It mainly resided around the rim of the reservoir... nothing too messy. Just make sure the black rubber flat seal/washer is not kinked or overly compressed. I had tighten it a little too much and it deformed.

So, how did you manage to get the e85 setup without putting e85 in the car before you did the tune? Lol. Did you run 92 then get e85 after installing the parts?

The smaller pulley is 100 mm good for 11.5 psi.

So... I replaced all my spark plugs with the HKS plugs. It was miserable to do but I could do it twice as fast next time.

However, one of the plugs is bad so after A LOT of testing I have one factory plug and three HKS until I get a replacement. So stupid. A lot of wasted time trying to figure out what was bad.

Quick question I guess the stock MAP Sensor only reads up to 5.5 psi? Can you recommend a solution other then vacum boost reading. Thanks

Omni Power 3 Bar MAP Sensor

My tuner supplied one for me, but lots of vendors sell them for approx $100.

... and another one bites the dust. This time it's V1, series 13. 100% same symptoms as those 4 which died earlier in small Russian GT86 community: looks fine from the outside, the car is running but the blower just stopped blowing.

No need even to open the unit, the picture will be 100% the same - failed threads on the "cover". The owner will try to get the replacement from HKS. This makes it 5 dead HKS SCs in Russia. Amazing statistics which led towards very specific reputation of these units here... I know just 2 other such SCs which are still running. 3 guys whose units died installed new ones from series 15 (2, including myself, just bought replacements for cash and one after lengthy battle with HKS reps around the world finally managed to get it replaced by the HKS UK - that one reached 9000 km already. Mine is also doing fine so far (less than 2000 km though). Hopefully, they really fixed the problem in later series but those made in 2013/14 are just showing 100% failure rate here What puzzles me that it's happening only in Russia apparently, as I've seen no similar repors on this forum from other countries/regions

I am a Chinese owner for the gt86 and I already ordered the v3 kits.
I got some regret for my order I think I should go with v2 is better , because the v2 kits use 90mm pulley directly. Now I think I should buy the 90mm pulley upgrade kits for my car to meet the 270 whp use ECUTEK for the tune.
Do you guys know where I can buy the 90mm upgrade kits ?
I already buy the 100mm kits toghter with my v3 kits

Part no. for 90mm pulley is HKS 12999-AK003

And you can order from here http://www.rhdjapan.com/hks-gt-super...lley-90mm.html

Without restrctor, v2 can make 14-15psi@7500.

V3 kit has larger intake charge pipe(than v2)

So if you use 90mm with v3, you should watch your boost level. It will make more boost than v2.

HKS V3 supercharger on my 2015 Auto trans FR-S ?

Have decided on the HKS V3 Super Charger for my 2015 automatic transmission FR-S but have a few questions...
My goal is to significantly increase my 0-60 time, not my top end speed.
- Is a supercharger the best way to achieve this?
- Will I run into any installation or operational problems because it's an automatic transmission ?
- Will I need to consider any additional upgrades besides exhaust system, sticky tires and Super charger ?
Your knowledgeable input and advice is greatly appreciated

From my understanding, you may run into problems with one of the pulleys on an automatic version. I'm not sure what that problem is, but I've been told one of the pulleys is different which can cause an problem during install on an auto. If anyone has more details on that, please let me know so I can make note of it!

Also, just to clarify, the HKS Flash Editor will not work on an AT car. So you if you do install the V3 kit, you will need custom tuning.
