LOL! That was a trap set specifically for you, because you like it herra frush. I put the air suspension on max height for the photo. Enjoy the wheel gap. It has all the off-road electronics and capability of a range rover. I can put mudders on and go up my neighbors driveway, which may happen at some point. It'll do 19" of water, which I hope never has to happen.

I like the car so damn much, I'm thinking of getting one for myself. I might go Model 3, though, if they ever put out cloth seats and a short range model.

My only real complaint is that they put on all seasons. I think only the 22s come with summer tires.

Of note, I was reading an article on Jalopnik about VW's new MEB electric platform and all wheels for those cars will be sized 18-21 inches to add ground clearance for the batteries. So yea, we're officially entering the era of massive wheels. I'm assuming that is what Jaguar is doing: Lowering the risk of puncturing the batteries if you hit something on the highway or drive over a curb.
No, I just raised it to full off-road mode.

Ah, okay. But does it looks better in low mode in the real world? I'm just going off of press photos with the bigger wheels and it still doesn't look great.

Well, it doesn't look like it's on stilts. It has a normal wheel gap. At speed, it lowers more, I think. Whether you mind that gap is up to you.

I think this is the EV I would go for today (If I had the money. And the charging infrastructure in my condo/work place).

Anything by Jaguar in the last few years just looks so damn good.

"If I put it in dynamic mode and take off the traction control, I can break the wheels loose."
Son and wife ignore words.
Takes off traction control and hits dynamic button.
Floors pedal at 20mph.
Son's and wife's heads smack into head rests.
Complaints follow.

Driving at 35mph in a 35mph zone. A path opens to get ahead of everybody. Floors it.
"Ya know, you don't have to do that," she says.
"Yes, yes I do," I reply.
Five cars passed and now in the right lane, ahead of all traffic.

"I can turn off the seat heater for the bottom but keep it on for my back."
"Roasted nuts?"

The Mercedes EQC will come around the end of 2019. Problem is, it's 5346lbs. The GLC is nice, and the EQC is based on the GLC, but damn that's a lot of weight. 4784lbs for the I-Pace. Another 600lbs is unacceptable. Then there's the Audi, but it's underpowered. Cadillac won't be there until 2022 or so. The Model 3 is small, low, and doesn't come with leather, so it's uncomfortable. The Model X is a fucking boat. The Model S is horribly outdated inside and out. I'm not seeing an I-Pace alternative right now. Maybe the Porsche Taycan a dump, but that's sedan low, which is not-so-comfy.
