Garage
Didn't look very fast.
Much like a Harley, really good at converting fuel into a lot of decibels.

While you were sleeping one morning, Mrs. Ultra shared with me how you guys met at the apartments. Very cool.

Went for a short drive up and down the freeway to try to burn up as much of the February gas that's been in the car before filling up earlier.

Geeze, if you're letting the car sit for that long, you should really consider using some kind of fuel stabilizer.

I looked into it, and was about to order some Sta-bil until I read people having some gelling issues and actually messing up their car. I might order some fuel stabilizer from Amsoil, but I'll have to do more research. Even with this old of gas, she started right up and drove just fine.

Anyone have any experience with various fuel stabilizers?

No experience with fuel stabilizers for regular gas, for cars at least, just on my lawnmower lol. I have used a couple bottles of E85 stabilizers from Lucas and Sta-Bil when I used to buy large amounts of E85 to mix. Didn't have any issues, but the E85 usually gets mixed with fresh regular gas (to get E30) and gets used within a couple of months.

I think if we stopped working 2 to 3 Saturdays every month, I'll be able to have the time and energy to drive it enough to be able to use the tank again every 2 to 3 months. lol. But yeah, a lot of fuel stabilizer reviews I'm reading are for lawn mowers and other small engine equipment; and for a lot of the automotive uses, reviewers mentioned that whole gelling fiasco (for Sta-bil).

Ya, @Clipdat metioned it to me. Freaking tragic, but knowing how I drove my slow shitbox Integra when I was 19, I can't say I'm surprised of the outcome specially when combined with a Mustang (even a V6 or a turbo 4 is too much) and Mines rd.

Been using sta-bil for years in my cars and boats with success.

I spend the money at the lawnmower shop for the ethonal free gas for the lawn equipment.

Why not just partially fill the tank so it cycles through more often?

The more empty a tank is, the more condensation can occur. So that would actually be worse for me.

How about recently? The reviews I read said in the past year or two is when the gelling issue started.
