Any upcoming meets in SAT? I just become a BRZ owner around Christmas and I've seen a few cars around town on the highway but I would love to meet some of the owners and generally get to know the local crew. I've been doing RR-470 and Twisted Sisters solo and have seen a few other drivers on my way out towards Bandera, but it looks like most of the meets in the area I've found online are targeted towards classics/muscle.

Jeremy the main mod was in a car accident and is going through a lot at the moment. I am not sure who the other mods are I'll see if I have anyone them an pm them

I was in New Braunfels TX (my office is there) on Jun 8th and saw a pretty nice Yellow twin with a big wing and big white letters on the tires heading eastbound on FM 306. I only caught a glimpse of it, but it looked very cool. Certainly stood out in the land of pickup trucks.

You always spot cars like yours on the road, somehow they are just easier to see. I did a south, east, south, west, north east, north trip this month. Basically a Columbus Ohio to Charlotte to SATX and back, picking up the NC coast on the way home. 3,000 miles between the 1st and the 17th. (company car, not 86) Saw a few in metro areas, but almost zero in the wide open spaces. Certainly saw less than 1 twin a day. I know they are not popular in Ohio, I guess that is the case everywhere.

Are you familiar with the Baader Meinhof phenomenon?? It's a cognative bias coming into play.... That's exactly what your experiencing with the 86

This would be nice, but I hardly ever see another twin driving around. Now mustangs and camaros...one every other block. :P
