Can't view at work... Is this a "pure" sound clip without raving techno beats covering up what I would really care to hear? If not I'll take the time to walk outside and put 3G and my data plan to the test...

Yes. It's a "pure" sound clip.

Hyundai Genesis 2.0T
2013 Acura ILX 2.4L 6MT (for some reason)
Audi S4
BMW 1 series M
BMW Z4

So besides "driving" like a more expensive vehicle, the commentors' consensus is that BRZ sounds like a more expensive vehicle as well.

Nice.

I don't think I'd draw that conclusion, at least not from those guesses. Anyone who thinks the BRZ sounds like a Viper or an S4 has lost all credibility.

Yeah, I know for certain that it doesn't sound like an S4

Then again, an S4 sounds like nothing at all until you get it above 5k rpm, or put an exhaust on it.

The sound reminds me of a tuned AE86, which is definitely a good thing!

Wow, that sounds way better than any other sound clips I've heard. I'm actually not gonna be too upset with the stock exhaust, should have decent volume with the intake sound being plumbed into the cabin too.
