My 335 is being installed as I type this. Well, the engine build is happening at the moment before the 335 goes on

Had a 210 on a stock motor and decided to go for the HKS stroker kit and cams before putting the 335 on. Should have some updates in the next week or so

I sold my 210 kit and replaced it with a 335

I basically bought a new 335 kit and just gave the buyer of my 210 kit the following:

- old 210 charger
- old 210 plastic inlet pipe
- old pulley on 210 charger

And then all the new pipes, wires, intercooler etc from the 335 kit. So I've got my existing 210 setup, basically without the charger, ready for the 335 to be put on top

If you could provide all the parts that you're using to do your engine build that would be great. Hope it's insanely fast for you.

How much is the engine build costing you?

Remember that this is all in £ not $

Around £5k worth of parts, excluding the charger and about £3k labour

So here's something we've come up with based on our experience.

We don't recommend going below a 70mm pulley because at that point you're limiting the rev range of the motor if still keeping the SC spinning at reasonable levels. This is not going to be 100% for everyone, but designed to summarize our experience with pulley sizes and knock counts based on application and fuel selection. With e85 you can spin the SC as much as you want, any of them. But stock rods can only hold so much, and there are some exhaust/intake limitations once you take the 335 to the 75mm pulley or smaller. Until that's addressed it isn't really necessary unless you're at elevation or running a built motor. Every 1000 feet of elevation gain can be thought of as going down 1mm in pulley size. So in Denver a 210 non IC on 91 octane can be spun on a 70mm pulley.

For CA customers on CA 91 octane, generally going UP in pulley size isn't a terrible thing. The heat reduction and allowance for extra ignition advance is usually a better thing then throwing more hot boost at it.

Thanks a bunch for your spread sheet. I like your new logo as well. Basically if I go 335, it would be wise to always run e85 otherwise I should get my engine up to forged status. I'm at 92oct 70mm intercooled, considering e85. There's one station within 5 miles of my work so as long as it doesn't close I'll be ok. Only thing I don't like about e85 is that it gets 5mpg or so lower so I'd have to fill up more often. It used to be a good amount cheaper as well which balanced out the cost of fueling up more often, but that's not the case anymore. Thanks again. I like data and spread sheets.

@Jonesy86 see the chart since you run e85/flex fuel and 72.5mm.

Thanks Mike

Based on that I'll stick with my 75mm pulley on the 335

We don't get e85 in the UK best is Shell V Power which is 99RON which I think is the equivalent of your 93octane in the States?

@SprintexUSA

Are you aware of any issues with the 335 units? Just been told that mine may need some "slight adjustments" by the garage...
