and build them all in mid-America....

I have to say though, if they did do a mid-engine Camaro, and managed to keep it a 4 seater and priced under the Corvette, I would seriously consider one.

LOL Guy on Facebook makes a random render, Motor1 feels it is newsworthy and people spread it around.

I can not wait until this runs through the clickbait telephone game!

As would I, but you can kiss those LS's goodbye. Definitely wouldn't be room for something like that. Unless we see even further innovation in the form of an affordable transverse LS config??

Does this even exist, transverse V8 in a rear/mid engine layout?

How could they make the back seat work though?

The Lotus Evora has one and it barely even qualifies as a seat.
And thats not even exaggerating like typical coupes where shorter people can make the rear seats work fine....

Nothing wrong with the dream. It is the sites and people that will say/think it is reality that amuse me.

Lotus does it with a transverse v6 with the 2+2 Evora.

100% agree. I've got my fingers crossed it plays out like you said.

Just put down a deposit on the new V8 rear engine Camaro. Great car for under $25k.

And ship them to Turkey without a tax. I would seriously consider one as well. And without a tax, I have a feeling that every 1 car out of 3 would be a Corvette here. We are already paying.

Sweet dreams..
