Question closed...

Edit: bought one!

Anyone jumping ship from their Miata to the FRS/BRZ? If so, I'd love to hear from you. Miata.net is a bit too hard-assed with their classifieds, so I decided to try here.

I'm in Central Florida and I'm looking for a a 2003-2005 (NB) or 2006-2008 (NC) Mazda Miata MX-5. I'm only interested in manual transmission equipped models, 5-spd or 6-spd is good. Trim level doesn't matter, including Mazdaspeed. I'll only consider cars with clean titles with no history of accidents. I really prefer stock or lighly modded.

I'm usually in Gainesville, FL but I frequently visit Orlando, FL. Willing to drive a bit if needed. Please contact me via PM or reply to this thread if you're looking to sell your Miata.

Thanks!

(Note to moderators: This is the first "want to buy a car that's not a FRS/BRZ" ad that I've seen in the classifieds section and I'm hoping I posted in the right section. If it should be moved to a regional forum or something, please move as needed.)

^ darn, but its good to know some people are willing to part with them! I find that the only Miatas for sale are automatics. My theory is that the people that buy the manuals have plans to keep them forever.

Good luck and thanks for responding to my thread

Luckily for you, most miatas are equipped with a manual transmission, whether it be the older models with 5spd or a newer chassis with the 6spd option. I know florida is a pretty big hotspot in the miata community, might want to check out http://clubroadster.net and http://mazdaroadster.net which are a bit friendlier in terms of classifieds than say miata.net. I think there are several florida and georgia specific miata forums as well, try searching for atlanta MX5 club.
