Haha! I’m not so sure...I still don’t have headers. I will be happy if mine is ready by March! We should put some money on it.

Good progress made on the weekend. The motor is in and not coming out anymore. Clutch is in, transmission mount is done. Waiting now for a banjo for the clutch master. Car will be going out for exhaust and AC lines shortly.

I was able to reuse the small AC line that goes to the condenser and runs on the driver's side.

Agreed. We just worked with the current space restriction and muffler configuration.

It's not going to be a restriction for my N/A power level (it's proven really bad dented headers do not pose a restriction to HP until they are almost dented shut) and I'll change the exhaust if I ever go the FI route anyway.

I think "only NA" with that engine should be ~400HP at the crank. Can't wait to see this thing up and running.

It should be around 475 whp with the headwork and cam I'm installing.. let's see how it does when it's all said and done.

The project should me moving quicker now that I'll be ordering the Motec from @Pure Automotive next week which is the final large piece I was missing.

3" Becomes a theoretical restriction a little below 400hp. I have a feeling it was a part of my issue with overheating the headers/exhaust and melting plug wires. I would be interested in the difference between exhaust on and headers dumped while your car was on the dyno.

Though I know another chassis where people scream that you need a 3" exhaust and 2.5" has been proven to be no issue until around 400whp. So who really knows lol

Really excited to see this swap get up and running!
