Well, how much do those wheels weigh, about 20 something each right? Same with mine..and to be honest, other than off of acceleration (from a stop) I did not notice a thing power response wise. Traction was increased, which was nice, it gave me more confidence in less than ideal road conditions (you know, simply wet, dirty, dusty) but I think that could also have had happened with a 8" wide rim and better quality tires than what we have stock.
I have a turbo now, plus I was tuned with a full exhaust and such before, so I always had some power adders - I really do not notice the wheels - though I am sure my ride is a bit bumpier now than it ever was . This will be addressed down the road with something better than lowering springs. You will love the look of your car, 57c6 are a gorgeous wheel This will help you out too 18x9.5 +40 Hankook Ventus V12 255/35/18 No sizing for 8.5" in this thread yet, but again, would most likely be 235 and I guess 40

I have 235/40/18 on with Hankook V12 for an 8.5 and it is probably what you're looking for.
