TRD supercharger+accessories $4K shipped

I haven't had the time to devote to installing this I wanted to. This is a feeler, I won't take anything lower than the price I have listed. Everything is 100% brand new and never installed/used. This is one of four S/Cs produced and the only new one.

I'm asking $4000 shipped.

The internals of this are the Eaton TVS1320, same as the Edelbrock and Harrop S/Cs. This one was built by Magnuson with a tuned plenum and larger twin AWICs. The S/C is driven off a secondary crank pulley, not off the accessory belt.

Comes with:

A/C delete kit, the snout sits where the A/C sits.
Larger 70mm throttle body
Bosch water pump
Four pulleys of various sizes, the smallest one is good for around 15-16psi. 100mm, 90mm, 85mm, and 80mm.
Belts for A/C delete and current S/C pulley

This isn't PnP. You will need to supply an intake, heat exchanger, and water lines. You may need to extend some wiring for new sensor mounts on the S/C. You may also have to rearrange some fuel lines, it does have indents for the DI hard lines.

It was a joint effort by TRD and Magnuson. Afaik Magnuson designed most/all of the aftermarket TRD superchargers sold for US vehicles. TRD sold these for $27K each and you had to buy two of them, suffice to say I didn't pay $27K for it.

It was used on a Scion/TRD-sposored Pirelli World Challenge race car. They stopped racing, I bought one of their superchargers. All four actually produced were produced for them.

I remember when these were first announced. Really cool piece of ft86 history for what seems to be a really good price!

I'm tempted to take out a loan and put it away for later. Anyone jave any idea what it would cost (approx) to buy everything needed? Who would have the skill needed to install? Shop?

I figured it would cost me another $500-1000 to get it up and running, but I'm fairly handy and would do all the work myself. The most expensive remaining item is the heat exchanger. You can get a single pass one for $150-200 from frozenboost.com or a dual-pass universal one from a number of people, they are about $380-500. The stock intake won't work so you need to either buy a CAI and reroute it or construct your own. I was just going to construct my own since people sell the MAF pipes separately, it's just joining together silicone hoses and sticking a filter on the end of it.

However I'm sure there is something I may have overlooked, like I said it's not 100% PnP so having a knowledgable shop or person would be key. Unless you know what you are getting into I would stick to the Edelbrock S/C.

No more AC = Otherwise awesome deal. Does it include some kind of tensioner for the SC drive belt?

Yeah I don't have it with me to take a picture but the A/C delete contraption also has a tensioner for the drive belt. I'll try and take a picture tomorrow.

Wow, if this super charger is legit it's like a unicorn myth floating around. Any dyno charts on it or how much bhp was it able to produce?
