Taking a page out of the American Muscle car interior space playbook I see.

Seems odd that a Nissan Z wasn't included in Car & Driver's Lightning Lap this year.

Maybe Nissan paid them to leave the Z out of it...

the article i pulled up indicated that the brands sent demo cars in to participate. so that would indicate to me that nissan chose not to participate.

perhaps they're licking their wounds from the last multi-vehicle review that it didn't do so hot in.

Same here! FINALLY saw 2 actually, at Cars and Coffee this past Saturday. So underwhelmed. Didn't even give them a walk around.

Still haven't seen one in the wild, which seems odd. I mean, I've seen two Cadillac Lyriqs in the wild and they've delivered less than 3,000 of them.

I have seen several now. Contrary to popular opinion (here at least) the simplicity of them is actually appealing to me. Even that realy squared off grill with the blanks sides looks better in real life. Far nicer than the factory boiracer overblown styling of the GR86.

It wouldn't surprise me if Nissan has sold less than 3000 Z's to date.

Geez, OK didn't realize the sales numbers were that low. Even so, given I work near Z1 Motorsports and see Zs of every generation just about every day, I would have thought I would have seen one,

Are they sitting on lots? Or is that all they've been able to import (give or take)?

I think they're having production issues.

I saw my first one on the highway and it's nice looking, even eye-catching, but not anything I'm going to run off and buy.
