And no, I would not walk into a bar and say that. I just happen to like the Camaro a lot and really look forward to the new one. I love my FR-S just as much. |

it actually doesn't matter what you use for tuning, EcuTek also allows you to open unencrypted roms. So you could simply copy MAF table into your own tune and give it a shot, see for yourself if it meets what you'd want to see in your trims. |

Question regarding vgi tool:
I've logged IAT and anytime I try to load it into the VGI tool it says: "Intake Air Temperature" value must be specified Any ideas why it is saying this even though I've clearly logged it and confirmed this via the log. |

This is more of a practice log to see if I can get the program setup for a log I plan to run on Saturday. If I can't get it to take this log, I'll try again then. Thanks for the help! |

sorry, mate, there was a bug which displayed a wrong column name for the error. What you actually did not specified is the "CL/OL Status". It's been fixed and will be in the next release. Last edited by vgi; 01-25-2015 at 12:16 PM. |

Hey @steve99 - big thanks to you for posting so much info/FAQ in this and many other threads. I'm just starting to learn the world of tuning and I'm completely lost but I'm picking up the pieces little by little by reading most of your threads.
Thanks everyone else too for contributing...trying to learn as much as possible without asking noobish questions.

This thread is awesome! So much great info. Thanks to @steve99 and @vgi for a superb tool.
My MAF scaling is quite accurate on the CL side. I average about 0.8% LTFT. The dilemma now is this. I go to tune the OL side of things and do a bunch of WOT runs. When I looked at the logs, I can see my Commanded AFR is around 10.5, but the Measured AFR is 12.1. I assume is due to the O2 sensor limitations and not an error in the MAF scaling. Since I have this limitation, I won't be able to properly scale the MAF sensor. I am runnings AVO turbo btw. Is there a way I can get around this limitation? Or should I just fork out the $500 to have my tuner rescale the MAF? Thanks! |

you could put a proper wideband in second o2 position. |
