This thing sounds like a beast, and the double tips don't look as bad as I expected. It's definitely loud below 3000 rpms and sounds v6ish.

I like my purchase. The piping thickness seems to be the thinnest as possible. The only real questionable aspect about the design is the tab that bolts to the transmission brace. Coated my frontpipe to prevent rust. The fitment is actually on par with the other aftermarket frontpipes I've seen.

It also mates very well to the 2.75" Greddy evo3 on my turbo car setup.

Yup, the front pipe should work great with other 2.75" catback section like the Evo 3. But, folks not running a 2.75 catback should take note becasue it will create a step down going from the front pipe outlet into the midpipe (stock or 2.5" aftermarket).

I apologize.. I thought this thread was to talk about the J2 engineering products. I think those pictures exemplify the quality and fitment of the product- something most forum members would appreciate.

Appreciate your input about J2 quality and fitment. We definitely haven't had enough of that. Does there seem to be significantly more piping present in the quad though, besides the tips?

just installed mine, overall i like the looks of the quad, but the exhaust itself is really loud imo, and there are quite alot of drones.

Hm. This sorta sealed the dealio for me if I ever get around to exhaust from all the stupid things I'm wasting my cash on. Miata is absorbing a good portion right now.... Getting tired of my droning, uh, exhaust leak, essentially. @yurgirlishot Any more on the drone RPM range? How is it compared to say, no muffler.
