Looking good Preno!!

Fish Eagle - I'll see if I can find the link but you could fit the cooler/plate from the new Forester XT. Direct fit.

Thanks, but that's water cooling which is not what I'm looking for.
BTW, I priced that fitting - it's about R2150 + vat from a Scooby dealer.

Preno's pic shows an oil take-off for an air cooler - that's what I need and the only one I've seen advertised is HKS's and it's very pricey.

Wonder why the HKS oil coolers go for around $1000

And the rest go for around $500...

Hey @Fish Eagle

Let me know if something like this would interest you so that I could work out pricing.

Thanks, it looks like a nice kit, but it's too pricey (based on AVO's list price).

For me, an oil cooler is a nice-to-have, not a must-have.
My highest oil temps are about 135°C and that's still OK(ish).

I'm not sure how you feel about oil additives but Liqui Molly make a good product called "Ceratec". Quite a few of the scooby guys swear by it. A few of them have told me it brought their oil temps down on track by around 5 degrees - however I have not personally confirmed this.

It also helps with extra lubrication in high G corners and cold starts.

Dont get me wrong, its no oil coolder, but its definitely something I would consider.

I personally use it in all my cars.

Ouch, in that case Mishimoto all the way...top notch built quality and unconditional lifetime warranty. Even if you crash your car.
