Yes, because you need to remove the few bolts on the back of the supercharger to take the charger off, which are underneath that elbow, out of sight. Its hard to reach with that elbow there, you are doing it blind and the spot is real tight with the elbow.

I found it so much quicker to just remove the entire kit. Takes around 30 minutes gave me the opportunity to check all o rings grease them up and fit back to ensure no leaks.
I definitely struggled with taking off while kit on and got so frustrated at dropping bolts and hands being too big to get in there. If you get it right easy enough really would like to know, for future. |

It was easy for me to remove the back elbow, but then again I have the proper tool to do it, so if you don't then I can see it being a bigger PITA.
Well my coolant dropped down again....idk wtf is going on. I built up maybe 3 pounds of boost on my way into work today, it was full last night, so idk, maybe a coincidence, but i'm going to get into boost again a little on the way home and see if the level drops. Either way this is annoying as hell. I am guessing the leak is in the intercooler, because there is no leak anywhere else, i've checked about 10 times already. Unless I just had a bunch of air in my system but I doubt it at this point. I have to check my subaru super blue coolant bottle and see how much left I have and compare it to the 2.2l the system takes. |

Theres a lot of variable at play there, but I would bet it would be around 300whp with that setup. The 700cc injectors may not be worth it however.

Yeah, I will probably end up buying this kit . I know I can get cheaper solutions but Radium is top notch and I love the mirrored mounting on the backside of the strut towers.

I believe people who have hooked up catch cans to the crankcase aren't seeing much oil blowby. If it were me and I was getting just one can, i'd get the PCV kit. That is where you will see the most especially on boost.
I'm sure someone a bit more knowledgable will chime in, but here is what Radium has to say: This catch can runs inline with the 3/8" PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve. When the intake manifold pressure is close to or greater than atmospheric pressure, the PCV "check" valve closes and, thus, this hose experiences no flow. Conversely, the PCV hose will experience "metered" vacuum when the engine is idling, steady state cruising, and decelerating. This would normally draw unwanted crankcase vapor, unspent fuel, and oil sludge into the intake manifold immediately after a high load run. Note: Because the Radium catch cans are pressure sealed, they are great for boosted applications as well so connecting to the intake manifold is permitted. |

Where do you plan on mounting it? I think the designated spot doesnt have enough clearance if you have an Innovate SC.

So you're saying it's easier to remove the elbow - including that circle in red? Also does that bypass piece slide off with the elbow or with the manifold?
