Another vote for the ol' Excel spreadsheet approach. You can customize it as you wish, very easy, don't need an internet connection, blah blah. If you want to have it on more than one device, use Dropbox or any other cloud-based storage for the file. I keep records for three automobiles and a motorcycle on mine, and it computes mileage for every fillup, ever cent spent on parts, labor (when i don't do it myself), date and miles, part numbers/manufacturer used, and anything else that I think is valuable, and I set in reminders for maintenance-due dates and mileages.
For me, anyway, it's a lot easier and simpler than yet another app.

mycarfax.com does a pretty good job for me. It will send you an email reminder when your maintenance is at the estimated time/kms. Also lets you add any other service you did during the oil change reminder.

I used a notepad back in the days before smartphones. Now I use A-car. It’s superior to a notepad in that it actually starts reminding you when it’s close to time for the next service and it will arrange all of the data into graphs and charts. It also backs up the data to the cloud, so there is no antiquated notepad to potentially lose.
