Sho gets her FR-S (Finally!) - Pics! - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

If you've followed any of my recent posts or threads, you'd know we (my girlfriend and I) have been awaiting the "release event" for her First 86 FR-S. About a month ago, we were contacted by a Regional Director for Scion about setting a date for a release party and we were given a "media release form" that we had to sign to consent to being filmed and miked. We set the date the earliest we could, May 16th, based on when Scion expected the car to arrive here in Las Vegas. The car arrived much earlier than expected, on the 2nd, but we had to wait due to the coordination required between Scion and Desert Scion of Las Vegas - our chosen dealership. We had an out of state trip planned for the week prior to the 16th anyway, so we kept a positive attitude about having to wait. Well the date has finally come, and although I wanted to share our experience and get these pictures up last night, we've just been having too much fun driving and showing off! Event was great - good music, good food, great people from the local Scion Club, fellow forum members, and Scion corporate guys!

Congratulations! I noticed her car is white as well. That seems to be a popular color for the early releases.

It is 6-speed. She wouldn't have it any other way. She has been missing her manual 1st-Gen xB since we sold it for the FR-S.
