I am so close to buying a limited for $26500...

We had a nice ice storm and I am going out of town this weekend. I'm kind of going to be pissed if I missed the 1.9% financing deal. Subaru website says it ends today... Any bets on if they extend it?

^ this... also i might have missed it so if someone already mentioned this just disregard.

the 0% and 1.9% and the extended 2.9% is only available through subaru financing dept... also, you must put a certain amount down on the car to get those rates. so if you want one of those rates you have to do a loan shorter than i think 60 months and put down quite a chunk of change.

i just purchased a 2014 SWP BRZ Limited with all kinds of bells and whistles for under 27k but i wanted to do 0 down due to the fact that i was re buying after totaling my FR-S. thats how i found out about the percentage rate thing. anyway, just figured id point that out... gotta take more cold medicine now.

It seems like that maybe different in different areas. Subaru asks what about zip codes before giving the details. For my zip code both the 0% on 2013 BZR and 0.9% on 2014 BRZ loans says: "No down payment required."

I can bet the dealer is going to say I need some sort of down payment but its not Subaru Finance demanding it where I live.

Yesterday I bought my 2014 BRZ Limited for $26,750 at 48mo 0.9% and was offered it at $0 down. I put down $2000 but was told I did not have to. So under invoice deals are out there with 0.9% $0 down.

I got a quote at 26353 for a 2014 limited, 6 spd with 0.9% apr (Subaru financing deal expires 3/31/14). I'm thinking about pulling the trigger but I don't know if I should wait until the 2015 refresh since I'll be traveling for work up to 3x later this year for weeks at a time

I got my FRS used for $20k, 2.89% through an FCU with $5k down. $250/mo

I'm still a newbie to the FRS, but I'll throw in my input.

Having been into BMW's for a long time, it's a trade off for sure.. It depends if you want the comfort, smoothness and refinement of the BMW, or the lightweight agility of the BRZ/FRS. It's more of a "what aspects of the car are important to you?"

I had looked into used 335i's as well, but passed because of the potential upkeep costs past 100k miles (turbo's). That and the cheaper aftermarket for the FRS/BRZ was very enticing. I wanted a car that I could make my own.

An interesting pro to the FRS... People / traffic seem to be much nicer to me when I'm driving the FRS than the BMW.

I'm hoping to be with the ft86 platform for a very long time. So I hope these cars stand the test of time.
