I came here to post that clip.
I think the car looks amazing, incredible, bizarre in an exceptional way.
I could get lost staring at the lighting on the ducts in the side view.

I had to research Multimatic. I didn't know of them. Are they rated better than K-Sport?

They are a major auto supplier. That has to be sarcasm.

1/ That was not sarcasm; I hadn't read of them before that I remember.

I wish the styling was more like those 5 concept cars they released in paris a few years back. This thing looks way too derivative of the existing players (Ferarri/Lambo)

Those 5 at least looked abit more "lotusey"

Multimatic DSSV suspension they got their start with Formula 1 IIRC. The only cool thing is that their office is local to me.

Welcome to the results of aerodynamic science. When you find an optimal shape for something, it starts showing up everywhere.

I’m loving these new cars. Function but aesthetics too like art. The Valkarie, Mono, this, etc are all inspiring.

I don’t really get what you mean. Did they not design the car?

Love it. Looks amazing, and very Lotus.

Its just a shame they went the limited production hypercar direction though. It will be swallowed up by rich collectors and hidden away in private garages.

Hopefully it will at least spawn an Elise replacement

I think this is an extremely significant car...because look at how much R&D went into the aero. None of the recent Lotuses have been aerodynamically any good.

My hopes are getting very high for the Elise refresh. The concept has always had so much potential, it just needed more money in the design.

^^^Strikes me as a Geely with a Lotus badge slapped onto it. They didn't develop the guts, and they're contracting it out to be built by someone else, so...ya know?
