198 (stock, as evidenced by the torque curve) -> 209 horsepower is a very, very poor gain. Here is the dyno for the DT tune provided by CSG with the Ace header package.

5.556% gain with the dyno you posted, versus 17.86% gain with a good tune. That's over 3x the gains when tuned properly.

Here's a very rough photoshop overlay of the two dynos. Thick lines are the DT/CSG Ace dynos, the thin lines are the provided dynos.

Another graph, with the graphs scaled identically but translated to best-fit stock torque curves, so that torque gains against stock can be compared.

Wow, glad I found this thread. This car was begging for a 4-2-1 header. UEL was a half assed bandaid for the torque dip.

So, what is the difference then from an older DT/Ace tune to this newer revised version.
I’m anal enough to get the update if the gains are enough?

No, I will go from stock to 4-2-1. UEL has that nice subie sound, but it is not the best option for performance. Actually wondering now the different versions of this exhaust compare (150/350/400/etc).

I'm new to this platform so maybe a 4-2-1 option is old news, but I didn't know about it. My SVT Focus came stock with a 4-2-1 and it was perfect. There were no aftermarket headers that could beat it.

Probably not. The lower numbers produce more in the top end for track and the higher end numbers bump more in the mid range and also give you some top end where it's better suited for DD driving.

Does anyone have a dyno comparing the original Delicious stage two tune to the revised one? I'd love to see how they compare on a graph, even though I understand some of the benefits may not show up in that format.

Get in touch with CSG. CSG now does in house tuning vs working with DT now. The update should be free for you if your already tuned with DT.
